Course Overview
This course will explain how post award management fits into the entire grant management process and how best to set up and manage projects in line with budgets and funder expectations.
Henry Tumwijukye & Ninette Mouton
Lecturer Overview:
  • Mr Henry Tumwijukye is a trained lawyer and one of the first Africans to receive the US National Institutes of Health International Extramural Associates Research Development Award (IEARDA) aimed at training and enhancing grants management and compliance capabilities in academic institutions in Uganda and across the East African region (2007–2013).
 
  • Ms Ninette Mouton has more than ten years of experience in the higher education sector. She started her career as a fundraising proposal writer in the Advancement office at the University of Pretoria (UP) where she was responsible for writing proposals for corporate and foundation donors. Ninette is recognised for her ability to implement complex grant management processes and for her expertise in managing US Federal funded grants.
